the second (and in my opinion, better) of the two new arcade fire songs that were released this week. this one features david byrne on backing vocals, and honestly would have made a perfect addition to the original suburbs album. wonder why they waited on it…

don’t know too much about these guys. got the track as part of a fall mix tape from some good people, and feeling pretty exhausted on a monday morning after a weekend that was both brilliant and entirely draining, this track had a finger on my pulse.-d

well what do we have here? a zippy, punkish, and positively meta single from win & everyone’s favorite gang of angry canadians. it’s actually a pretty straightforward song considering the source, but i still dig. and is it just me or is there a little bit of a TV on the Radio sound hiding in there somewhere? oh man. that’s the album i’m waiting for. AF/TVotR present ‘we hate everyone’. someday. in the meantime, we have this. -d
